Our baby turned seven months old yesterday! I can't believe it. She is starting to crawl instead of her army tummy crawl more and more every day. She can now go from crawling to sitting on her own. Still not getting the swallowing down with solids quite yet, although yesterday when Auntie Jacquelyn took us all out to lunch for Mommy's birthday, Daddy gave Roon the end of a bread stick to gnaw on, and she loved it! She threw an all out tantrum when it was so soggy he took it away for a few minutes before replacing it with a new one. She is starting to have stranger anxiety, and is also very jealous of her Auntie Goo. Apparently, Auntie Goo belongs to her and her alone. If Auntie Goo DARE pay attention to anyone else, or horror of horrors, actually HOLD Verity instead of her, well, she will throw quite the screaming fit. She is getting this tantrum thing down to an art already. Rooney has the most adorable chuckly laugh now, and she giggles and chortles the whole time we are in the car. If she wakes up before Verity does, she will look around for her and then crawl to her door to try and find her. The other day, Verity's door had been left open and Rooney crawled in up to Verity's crib and woke her up! Verity thought it was the best thing ever.
