St. Nick's Day

Before she went to bed the night before, Verity picked out her favorite pair of shoes and a pair of baby's and put them outside her door for St. Nicholas to come and fill on his feast day. When she woke up the next morning, St. Nick had left her a plate of gingerbread cookies - with pink and purple frosting! Mommy let her eat cookies for breakfast - on the couch! Pretty special...Ju Bee got some fancy new pacifiers. We had some good little girls this year!

  1. Look at Miss Verity and her smile. She always makes me giggle. You can truly see her joy. And Little Miss Ju Ju Bee. Gosh, I just love looking at her. I cannot get enough. And what a beautiful blanket!!! I see it says Juniper Anne on it...is that handmade by someone? And you must tell me where you get their clothes at. EVERYONE I show these pics too asks that every time. They are so beautiful and unique! Like the girls that wear them. ~~Birth Gma Staci

  3. Birth Gma ~ Thank you! That is one of the things I love most about Verity...her emotions are so transparent. When she is happy or excited, the whole world can tell. Of course, that much joy is contagious, so she makes us smile all day long. Isn't that blanket beautiful? It says, "Juniper Anne ~ September 3rd, 2010" It was a gift from a wonderful friend of Matthew's Mom and Grandma named Susan. We call her the girls' "fairy godmother" because even though I have never met her, she has showered us with her friendship and special packages in the mail since Verity was born. The blanket is super soft too. Juniper is so funny. If I lay her down and put a blanket over her tummy, she gets so excited and kicks until the blanket is off and then she lifts up her shirt or dress up to her chin so her tummy is bare. Verity thinks it is hilarious that she has an outie belly button, so she will run over to "push" it back in. :)Their clothes come from all over. I love to mix and match stuff. Alot of the time their outfits will be a mixture of several different outfits put together. My favorite shops for their clothes are Naartjie ( nar - chee) and Baby Lulu. The matching blue outfits are from Naartjie. Thanks for commenting!

  5. Well Miss Katheryn...you can sure dress them girls. I found a website that was just tutus and headbands...I had to resist the urge to buy them all for Verity and Juniper. You could even buy fairy wings to match. Randi and I were squealing with delight at work one day looking at them.
