Epiphany

To celebrate the three kings visiting the Baby Jesus, we go over to Grandma's house. We make crowns out of paper and make capes out of blankets. Here we are getting ready...

Then the lights are turned out and the older kids carry candles. We all walk from room to room singing, "We Three Kings," looking for the baby Jesus (hidden by Grandma somewhere).

Uh Oh! Look who we found in a closet on our way! It is King Herod, or "King Carrot," as Verity called him.

After we found Baby Jesus, it was present time!

Red Velvet Kings' Cake with cream cheese frosting. I put in a raisin, a cross, a coin, and a bean. Whoever gets the bean in their piece gets to be king for the day. The raisin means you will be an old maid, the coin means you will be rich, and the cross means you will be a religious.
