Pumpkin Patch 2012

We went on our annual trip to the Pumpkin Patch Farm this weekend. It poured rain the entire time, but the girls didn't seem to care. Grandma Green and the twins came with us, which made it all the more fun! Gethsemane wanted to hold my hand for awhile while she warmed up to the place. Here we are scoping it out.

                   We saw some goats, sheep, and pigs. Verity told the goat whats what.  Rooney wanted to take this "cow" home with her.

                                                  Played some games and ran through a hay maze.

Boss Man was chillin' on Momma.

Picking out THE pumpkin. Here Gethey was inspecting the pumpkin for rain and dirt. She was wigging out over the fact that the pumpkins were wet and "DIRTY!" She was determined to find one that wasn't.

 

This is how she smiles for pictures now. Sigh. Remember how she used to crunch her mouth when we said, "smile!" ? Well, somehow that got lost in translation, cause now she crunches her eyes.

The next morning...this was the shot Matt took when they all first woke up in the tent. It was still dark outside. They were SO excited to still be in the tent, still be camping, and BOSCO was there too!

Beach!

Verity just loved the water...she HAD to wear her bathing suit, even though it was cold. She couldn't get enough of the beach.

 Gethsemane,  on the other hand, wanted nothing to do with the beach whatsoever. She didn't even want to walk in the sand. So she got some Mommy time in while Daddy took Verity in the water.
