Being Bosco's Mommy
I love being your Momma. I love everything about you from your manly snores, to your love of kisses, from your addictive hair (SO soft and springy!!! Can't. Stop. Touching. It.) to your opinionated grunts...I love everything. I love holding you, and rocking you. I love feeding you while you look into my eyes and take gulp after gulp. I love how you make your feedings drag out as long as possible to make our special time last that much longer. I love that you look at me knowing that I am yours. I love that you never cry for more than a few seconds because you have two other little mommas who rush to you at the slightest peep and make sure I know just exactly what you need, just in case it got lost in translation. I love how you eat up all this feminine attention. I love how you are all boy, from the way you poop to the way you grin at me. I love how happy you are in our little family, and I love how you were meant to be my son. I love that you came into my heart from a family of such large hearts. Without them, I wouldn't have you, we wouldn't have you, and we wouldn't be the family we were meant to be.
Most of all, I love YOU.
Most of all, I love YOU.

22 Months
Thought I'd better post these before you turn 23 months! Just when I thought I couldn't possibly love you anymore, you became a bg sister, and I got to see, know, and cherish a whole new side of you. I've been loving getting to know the big sister that is you as well as you as middle child. You are so tender, thoughtful, helpful, motherly, nurturing, and protective. You told that doctor off who was "bothering" your baby brother at his checkup. You can't go down for a nap or to bed without kissing Bosco good night and telling him you love him. You are talking up a storm, but I love how you still say "Cheese" instead of "Please." Last night when I told you what was for dinner, you said, "Then I don't want dinner. I want chicken enchiladas!" Everytime I am holding Bosco, you slide up right next to me, as close as you can, and say, "I wanna KISS him!" I love you, my baby girl. More than you will ever know.

Michigan Trip, Part 1
2 days old
Best ice cream dairy EVER. They had olive oil ice cream, Mexican chocolate and chipolte pepper ice cream, Sunday breakfast ice cream, sooo many crazy flavors. I, of course, got peanut butter ice cream with oreos and chocolate chip cookie dough chunks. But I did TRY the olive oil one. Very proud of myself. Since us Washingtonians were not used to the heat, we tried every ice cream spot in a 60 mile radius and went for walks early every morning and late each night. There was also a church right next to our hotel with 24 hour Eucharistic adoration - SO spoiled! That is what I will remember most from this "babymoon" with Mr. Bosco - walks, ice cream, adoration, snuggling with Bosconi, and more walks. We got to have some wonderful visits with his birth family when we were there too, which were definitely our highlights - SO special to get to know them better. The picture above the ice cream one is Bosco at 1 week old.
